This year St Mary's Boys National School, in Rathfarnham, Dublin, celebrates its 25th anniversary under new principal Donal O Murchu. He

took over from Jim Molloy (above), who retired earlier this year after 25 years at the helm. O Murchu joined the staff in 1976. St Mary's has grown from a three-class school with 108 pupils to a 16-classroom school with over 480 pupils.
