I'm a Muslim and yes I do practice, but probably what you would describe as very reluctantly. There is no mosque in Longford, so we just have private family prayers. I suppose deep down I feel my religion is important to me - without it I would feel quite empty.

I'm a Catholic and I would go to mass every week, basically because I'm made go. I do not enjoy it. I think it is just boring. I suppose I think it is important to believe in something and I would pray the odd time. I do believe in God but I don't think religion is so important when you're younger.

I go to Catholic mass every Sunday and I would try to go to confession. Everybody needs something to believe in and I do believe in God - so yes, I suppose religion is important to me. When I go to college I'll still try and go to mass, but I'm not a monk or anything.

My family is Church of Ireland, but I don't go to church regularly. I would go for Christmas and Easter. I sort of like church at those times of year, but I'm also sort of made to go. Religion is important. You have to believe in something. I wouldn't really pray regularly, but I don't just use it in emergencies.

I'm a Catholic, but I don't practice regularly. After confirmation my parents said it was up to me, so now I go along once every couple of months. I believe in God, but I just don't like mass - it's so boring. Our school religion class is brilliant - we learn about cults, sex, marriage - everything.

I'm Roman Catholic and I go to mass every weekend with my family. I don't mind going because it is a tradition in our family to go together. I believe in God and I pray quite a lot. I wouldn't ever go on a pilgrimage or anything because I think that's getting too deep into it.
