This course is designed to help participants "take positive steps in preparing and planning for a return to work, career change or career improvement." The course will focus on assessing skills, looking at what options are open and helping participants develop their job search skills. The fee is £90 and there are a maximum of 12 places. For information contact the education department at 73 Lower Leeson Street, Dublin, or telephone (01) 661 0083; fax (01) 661 0086.
If you are planning an early holiday with an artistic flavour the Burren Painting School in Co Clare is running two courses in May including a three day course over the Bank Holiday weekend (May 3-6th). Both courses give existing and aspiring artists alike the opportunity to paint the Burren landscape in all media, while those specifically interested in watercolour techniques may like to consider the June Bank Holiday course which is specifically for watercolour enthusiasts.
