UCD's adult night degree places

THE MODULAR BA programme at UCD has opened up an opportunity for those interested in reading for a degree at night

THE MODULAR BA programme at UCD has opened up an opportunity for those interested in reading for a degree at night. There are no age restrictions, and there are places for those whose educational qualifications do not meet laid down entry criteria.

In other words, if you dropped out of school early or had a less than sparkling result in your Leaving Cert, go ahead and apply for a place you may well be accepted on to the programme if the faculty is satisfied that you have the ability to undertake the course.

Because of the modular structure, students can complete the programme in their own time. However, it is possible to obtain a degree within four years. There is a wide range of subjects on offer, from archaeology and drama studies to politics, languages and maths.

Applications are made through the CAO and must be received before May 1st.
