Elton John has recorded the Goodbye England's Rose version of Candle in the Wind which he sang at the funeral and hopes its sales will raise £10 million for charities favoured by Princess Diana.
"The record will be out on Saturday or Monday [next]. I just thought people might want a reminder of yesterday. We could raise a substantial amount of money for the Princess's Foundation - I hope between £5-£10 million," he said yesterday.
Meanwhile, Chris De Burgh says he has also recorded a musical tribute to Diana, based around the thought that since her death there is "a new star in heaven tonight".
