The British owner of Irish radio stations FM104, Today FM and Highland radio has confirmed it may sell them.
Emap said today in a trading statement that it is "considering its options" and would provide a further update in May.
The company said it expects full-year underlying revenues to be down 2 per cent and sees the difficult trading conditions in consumer media markets continuing through 2007 and 2008.
"We are on track to deliver £20 million of annualised cost savings in 2008/09," Emap's statement said.
"We regularly review assets within our portfolio, and against this background we are considering our options in relation to our Republic of Ireland radio stations. We intend to provide an update on this at our final results in May."
In total, digital revenue is expected to be £127 million, up 35 per cent on last year, Emap said.
