The Football Association have decided to bar fans from travelling to England's next Euro 2004 qualifier in Macedonia on September 6th.

It follows the FA's decision last month not to make tickets available to England fans for the away match with Turkey in October in a bid to avoid crowd trouble.

Paul Barber, the FA's marketing and communications director, said: "We have taken this decision following a review of the security advice available to us.

The FA now urges England supporters not to travel to Macedonia but to watch the match live on BBC Television."
