Skopje - The EU yesterday threatened to block aid to Macedonia unless the peace process is put back on track. The External Relations Commissioner, Mr Chris Patten, said that a donors' conference due to be held on October 15th was "absolutely inconceivable" as things stand.
As the EU officials visited the country, the hardline Macedonian Interior Minister, Mr Ljube Boskovski, vowed to return Macedonian police to the former Yugoslav republic's conflict zones even before the peace deal was fully ratified.
