The euro zone posted a provisional unadjusted trade surplus of €3.1 billion in November compared with a revised surplus of €3 billion in October, EU statistics office Eurostat said.
Eurostat had originally estimated a €2.4 billion surplus for October.
Exports rose to €127.4 billion in November from €109.2 billion, while imports climbed to €124.3 billion from €109.1 billion.
In seasonally adjusted terms, the euro zone had a trade surplus of €4.5 billion in November after a revised surplus of €2.4 billion in October. The October adjusted surplus was earlier estimated at €1.7 billion.
