Former Kerry GAA star Mr Tommy Doyle, of Aylsbury, Ballincollig, Co Cork, settled his High Court claim for damages for alleged severe and persistent psychological stress while he was sales manager with a Guinness Ireland Group subsidiary.
He claimed he was wrongly blamed for the failure of his employer's alleged sales price fixing. Mr Doyle brought his action against Deasy and Co Ltd, of Kinsale Road, Cork, and Guinness Ireland Group Ltd, of St James's Gate, Dublin.
