Former Munster and Ireland rugby player Eddie Halvey has been sent forward for trial on the charge of dangerous driving causing death.
Mr Halvey (36), of Alandale Hall, South Circular Road, Limerick, appeared in in Nenagh District Court today.
He is charged with dangerous driving, causing the death of Kevin Walsh (16) from Sycamore Drive, Bruff, Co Limerick on April 1st, 2006.
Mr Walsh died after a two-vehicle collision on the N7, near the village of Toomevara, Co Tipperary.

Judge Michael Reilly sent Mr Halvey forward for trial at Nenagh Circuit Court next month.
Mr Halvey was also remanded on bail to the March sitting of Nenagh District Court in respect of another charge arising out of the same incident, driving with excess alcohol.
