Paris - Two senior executives at Elite, one of the world's foremost model agencies, have resigned in the wake of a British documentary showing one soliciting sex and the other making seemingly racist comments.
As the BBC expose stirred up a storm in the fashion capitals of Paris and Milan, Elite - which boasts top models Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell - said in a curt statement that the Elite Europe chairman, Mr Gerald Marie and Mr Xavier Moreau, head of Elite Model Look, had stepped down.
The two were among four Elite executives investigated this week as a result of the film, which used a hidden camera to track a woman reporter as she went undercover in Milan for six months in the guise of an aspiring model.
