Aston Villa striker Dion Dublin's red card for an incident in the match against Southampton last month was rescinded by the Football Association today.
Villa manager John Gregory had accused Southampton defender Taher El Khalej of getting Dublin sent off after the players clashed heads in the September 24th Premier League game.
Dublin's dismissal came just minutes after Southampton's Rory Delap had been ordered off by referee Steve Dunn for a foul on Hassan Kachloul.
Villa, who won the game 3-1, immediately launched an appeal against Dublin's dismissal.
