The ever popular Senor Sassi's restaurant, on Dublin's Upper Leeson Street, has appointed Paul O'Reilly as head chef, a cook whose work will be familiar to many from his tenure in his brother Alan's Morels Bistro, in Glasthule, and his new menus enjoy many of the exciting Mediterranean touches which have been the touchstone of Morels: warm salad of spiced squid with a confit of lemon and coriander served with sesame croutons; angel hair pasta tossed with crab and pesto; braised supreme of wild salmon in a cockle, lemon and saffron broth; a tartlet of couscous served with summer greens and a tomato butter sauce, are just a few of the dinner specialities, and there are nice, simple and inexpensive dishes available at lunchtime also.
