An Antrim family escaped unhurt after a pipe bomb exploded in their letterbox early this morning.
The explosion happened at 4 a.m. on Norfolk Street, in the Rathenraw estate. A man, his wife and their 16-year-old son were in the house at the time of the attack.
In Derry, a suspect device found outside the home of an SDLP assembly member was declared a hoax. The incident happened at the house of Councillor Pat Ramsey in the Bogside area of the city last night.
