A Dublin man has been remanded for sentence by the Central Criminal Court after admitting charges of having sexual intercourse with his daughter and of sexually assaulting her.
The man pleaded guilty to five charges of sexually assaulting the girl on dates from September 1992 to January 1995, and to having unlawful carnal knowledge of her on a date between September 1st and October 5th, 1993.
Mr Justice Carney directed the preparation of victim impact and probation reports and remanded the man on continuing bail for sentence on October 8th next. The court was told the 53-year-old defendant was in custody on other charges.
