Dublin-based Rocca Tiles and TileBusters have closed all their retail outlets following the announcement today that Linfen, the company operating the stores may be put into liquidation.
Rocca Tiles was established in 1976 and TileBusters set up in 1994. The Rocca family sold its interests in both businesses to Linfen in May 2000.
Rocca Tiles and TileBusters have a combined workforce of 50 people in Ireland. Staff were this morning told not to come to work, but it is not yet known if they have been permanently laid off.
