An Irish Ferries crewman is feared dead this afternoon following his disappearance during a crossing between Rosslare and Milford Haven last night.
The man is believed to have fallen overboard during the crossing in circumstances which remain unclear.
He was reported missing as the Isle of Inismore docked in Milford Haven and a tracking search for him was carried out as the vessel made its way back to Rosslare last night.
A full-scale search, involving lifeboats from Milford Haven and an RAF rescue helicopter, was launched at first light today off the coast of south Wales.
