Harry Kewell will start for Liverpool against Ajax in the Amsterdam Tournament tonight after recovering from an ankle injury.
Manager Gerard Houllier has confirmed the £5 million sterling signing will play. Republic of Ireland defender Steve Finnan is likely to be on the substitutes' bench after overcoming a hernia operation.
Houllier said: "He [Kewell] will start the game because he needs match fitness and he's only played two halves for us so far".
Liverpool face Galatasaray on Sunday and Finnan may feature in that match.
Wolves, meanwhile, have signed Senegal striker Henri Camara from French club Sedan for £1.5 million.
Blackburn Rovers have signed Slovakian defender Vratislav Gresko from Italian side Parma for a fee of £1.2 million.
Gresko, who spent five months on loan at Rovers last season, has signed a three-year contract at Ewood Park.
Leeds have received enquiries from a number of clubs for former England goalkeeper Nigel Martyn (36) and will allow him leave the club should he choose.
