Marjayoun - Five Lebanese civilians were killed yesterday in a roadside bombing in the Jezzine district of southern Lebanon controlled by the Israeli-allied South Lebanon army, an SLA source said.
The explosive charge went off when the car passed near the village of Homsiyeh. The source said the dead were three women, a man, and a threeyear-old child.
Earlier yesterday, two Lebanese civilians were killed and a third injured in Israeli air raids on Hizbullah targets north of the Israeli-occupied zone, Lebanese police said.
