There is some disruption today to transport services in the southeast following recent flooding caused by heavy rain and melting snow.
According to AA Roadwatch, flooding has eased in most parts but is still a problem in counties Wicklow and Kilkenny.
Bus transfers are running between Wicklow and Arklow due to flooding on the Dublin-Gorey-Rosslare rail line, and Irish Rail says these bus transfers will continue today. Bus transfers will also serve Rathdrum tomorrow as flooding on the road into the town has receded.
The main bridge in Arklow town over the Avoca remains closed due to flooding. Anagowlen Bridge is also flooded in Ashford and motorists should avoid Claraveil in Rathdrum, AA Roadwatch said.
Lingering black ice following the cold spell of weather has been reported on several routes nationwide leading to several crashes around the country.
Water restrictions imposed by Dublin City Council are continuing today following an increase in broken water mains caused by the recent Arctic weather.
Dublin City Council has asked people not to use water to wash cars, paths or for any other non-essential use. It has also warned of bogus callers using the current water problems to gain access to houses, adding a member of the council will always carry and produce identification.

According to forecaster Joan Blackburn of Met Éireann, the weather outlook for the coming days is for mainly dry weather, with a slight frost developing in some inland areas at night.
