Ireland won two gold medals at the World Rowing Championships in Lucerne, Switzerland today.
Donegal woman Sinead Jennings (24) won the Lightweight Single Sculls in a time of 7 minutes and 23.3 seconds ahead of The Netherlands' Ter Beek and Switzerland's Pia Vogel in third.
Sam Lynch (25) delivered on his impressive wins in the heat and semi-final to bring home the gold in the Lightweight Men' Single Sculls, winning in a time of 6 minutes and 49.38 seconds.
The men's lighweight pair of Tony O'Connor (32) and Gearoid Towey (24) go for gold tomorrow.
