There has been some disruption to flights at Dublin airport this morning due to fog.
According to Siobhán Moore, communications officer at the airport, low-visibility procedures were put in place today to ensure enhanced safety.
This led to delays with the first rotation of flights, with the knock-on effect creating delays ranging from half an hour to an hour.
However, Ms Moore said the fog was clearing by the minute and flights should return to normal times later today. Airlines are also working to minimise the delays in their scheduled flights, and passengers are advised to proceed to the airport on time.
According to AA Roadwatch, there are no major flight delays nor cancellations at Shannon or Cork airports, although one flight from Stansted to Knock was diverted to Shannon due to fog at Knock.
