A take away restaurant in Co Donegal was closed in November because it posed an immediate and grave threat to public health, the Food Safety Authority (FSAI) said today.

Environmental officers from the North Eastern Health Board served the order on Cheungs Garden take away in Castlefin, the FSAI said.

The health board would not specify the basis for the closure order. Cheungs Garden was closed on the November 3rd but the closure order was lifted by the health board on the 20th.

Meanwhile the FSAI confirmed three improvement orders were served last month.
