Athens - Greece's former first lady, Ms Dimitra Liani (42), was attacked by the Athens press yesterday for comparing herself to the late Princess Diana.
"Diana annoyed the palace in England and Dimitra annoys the political establishment (in Greece)," the former Olympic Airways flight attendant, known in Greece as Mimi, had told Star television in an interview broadcast over the weekend.
Athens newspapers responded with mocking headlines to the 2 1/2 hour interview, the latest in a series of public appearences she is making after publishing her memoirs about life with the late socialist leader, Mr Andreas Papandreou.
