Gardaí say they are satisfied the death of a newborn baby boy whose body was found in Co Cork yesterday was not a result of foul play.
The decomposing body was found by the parents of a young woman in a house near Dunmanway yesterday.
Garda technical experts sealed off the house and carried out a preliminary examination of the scene.
The Assistant State Pathologist, Dr Margaret Bolster, carried out a preliminary examination of the body at the scene. It was removed to Cork University Hospital for a full post-mortem.
