Four men were charged with a range of offences after separate operations across Northern Ireland netted drugs with a street value of £75,000 (€110,000). A 17-year-old man has been charged with four counts of possession of ecstasy and cocaine and possession with intent to supply the class A drugs.
He has also been charged with handling stolen goods. A 22-year-old man has been charged with six counts of possession of ecstasy and cocaine and possession with intent to supply the class A drugs.
He was also charged with possession of amphetamine, also known as speed, and intent to supply the class B drug. He was also charged with handling stolen goods. Both are expected to appear at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday morning. The charges relate to drugs finds worth £70,000 (€103,000) in Ballymena, Co Antrim, and Co Fermanagh yesterday.
Two 24-year-old males have been charged with total of 13 offences including supplying cocaine and ecstasy. The charges relate to the recovery of drugs with an estimated street value of £5,000 (€7,400) and an amount of cash in the Upper Arthur Street area of Belfast city centre and during a follow-up raid in Newtownabbey in the early hours of this morning. They are expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on Monday morning. A 16-year-old girl and 27-year-old woman were released pending police reports.
