Three men and one woman will appear in Woolwich Magistrates Court in London this morning in connection with last Friday's alleged bombing attempt in the city. The four were charged in the same court yesterday with conspiracy to cause explosions, Scotland Yard said. Two of the men and the woman were also charged with having explosive substances. All four were remanded in custody last night.
The four charged yesterday were among 10 suspects arrested in a joint operation by gardai and British police which uncovered six primed firebombs. In England, a fourth man was released on Monday night without charge after being detained for almost 72 hours.
