A four-day Catholic youth meeting in Knock Co Mayo has begun today.
The four-day event, aimed at 15-35 year olds has been advertised with posters asking: "Still haven't found what you're looking for?" .
Organised by groups Youth 2000 Ireland and Knock Youth Ministry, event co-ordinators say they hope to "challenge people to take a step back, to look at their lives and find out what it really means to be Catholic".
Running from July 26 thto 29 that the Knock shrine, organisers say the Knock Summer Youth Festivalwill have "music, inspiring talks, workshops and craic, all centred on the celebration of holy mass, with eucharistic adoration and a reconciliation and healing service".
There is no admittance fee to the event, with food and basic accommodation provided for those willing to brave the weather. Donations, however, will be accepted.
