Four units of the Dublin Fire Brigade have brought a fire in the city centre under control this afternoon.
The fire broke out on the fifth floor of Number 5, O'Connell Street at 2 p.m. There were no injuries but workers in the building and the adjoining premises were evacuated.
A Fire Brigade spokeswoman said it was too early to say what caused the blaze. A Garda spokesman said they were investigating the circumstance surrounding the fire but that there were no early indications of a cause.
