Four people have been arrested after a man was kidnapped in Bangor, Co Down.
The victim, in his mid twenties, was abducted as he walked out of a hostel in the town's Central Avenue at around 5pm yesterday.
He was tied up and bundled into a dark-coloured three-door Fiesta car but managed to escape a short time later on the Skipperstown Road.
He received only minor injuries but was said to be shocked by the ordeal.
Two men, aged 20 and 21, and two women, also aged in their twenties, were arrested last night in connection with the incident.
