Four men have been arrested in Kildare over the seizure of cannabis resin that gardai have valued at around €10 million.
Gardai from the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Customs officers raided a premises in Carbury this afternoon and discovered 1.2 tonnes of the drug.
Three Irish men, aged 27, 30 and 43, and a 54-year-old Spaniard, are now being held under Section Two of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficing Act.
Two are being questioned at Naas Garda station, while the others are being held at Newbridge and Kildare.
