A bronze bust of Pulitzer Prize winner, the late Frank McCourt, will be unveiled in his native Limerick today. Mr McCourt’s widow Ellen, who is visiting Limerick this week with his brothers Alphie, Michael and Malachy McCourt, will unveil it.
The bust is sited in front of the Leamy Art School on Hartstonge Street and was commissioned by Limerick artist Una Heaton, a friend of the McCourt family. It was made by Co Clare sculptor Seamus Connolly.
