French business morale rose in June as firms' overall business outlook improved and views on past output stabilised, national statistics office INSEE said today.
INSEE's barometer of business confidence in the euro zone's second biggest economy rose to 110 in June from an downwardly revised 108 in May. May's figure had previously been reported as 109.
The June figure came in above the 109 consensus forecast made by economists polled.
"According to the business chiefs surveyed in June, the business climate is again headed in a positive direction," INSEE said in a statement.
