From Lagan Press comes Is Mise Ismeael, by Pol O Muiri of this newspaper; the title poem is a series of meditations on differing perceptions on Northern Ireland through the eyes of Ishmael. Coisceim will produce an anthology of 300 20th-century poems, edited by Greagoir O Duill. Clo Iar-Chonnachta also has an anthology of 20th-century poems in Irish, Rogha d'Fhiliocht an Cheid, edited by Gearoid Denvir. An Clochomhar have Trachtaireac ht ar na Cluichi Mora from Micheal O hUanachain, and Goin Ocrais by Liam O hAinle.
Non-Fiction
Maire Ni Mhurchu and Diarmuid Breathnach have co-written 1782-1881 Beathaisneis , from An Clochomhar. This is the sixth volume in their biographies series, which has 160 entries on poets, scholars, scribes, antiquarians and their esteemed like. Clo IarChonnachta has Stair na bParoisti Gaeltachta, edited by Gearoid O Tuathaigh: a co-production with Raidio na Gaeltachta, a series of lectures on the history of Gaeltacht areas which will be broadcast by the station from January.
Fiction
Deasun Breatnach has a collection of short stories, Galar na bhFocal agus scealta eile; An Clochomhar; and Coisceim has novels from both Padraig O Ciobhain and Seamus MacAnnaidh, as well a first collection of stories from Biddy Jenkinson. Clo Iar-Chonnachta has Gearoid Denvir on the job again, with Rogha de Ghearrscealta an Cheid, an anthology of Irish-language stories.
