Gardai are awaiting the results of further tests on a body found in Dublin on Wednesday evening to ascertain the cause of death. The body of a middle-aged woman was discovered at her home in Daniel Street, off Clanbrassil Street, by a neighbour.
An initial post-mortem examination was conducted by the deputy State pathologist, Dr Maire Cassidy, but further tests are required. Garda sources said foul play was not suspected.
