The move is sure to anger many fans after the GAA last month increased National League Division 1 entrance fees from £5 to £7 with Division 2 and 3 fixtures increasing from £4 to £5.

All-Ireland final tickets will rise from £32 to £35 - a 9 per cent rise.

All-Ireland semi-final tickets will see a 25 per cent hike with tickets available at £25 compared to £20 last year.

The most significant increase will be the price of tickets for the All-Ireland quarter-finals. A 33 per cent rise is expected with tickets going on sale for £20.

Last year quarter-final tickets were £15.

Prices for the terraced areas at Croke Park - Hill 16 and the Canal End - are unchanged.

The decision to raise prices was made by the GAA’s Central Council at a meeting on Saturday night.
