New Delhi - India's Supreme Court yesterday turned down an appeal by four co-conspirators sentenced to die for the assassination of former Indian prime minister, Rajiv Gandhi, and their only hope now is presidential clemency.
The four who have been sentenced to death are S. Nalini, her husband Sriharan, G. Perarivalan, who was accused of putting together the batteries and detonators of the bomb, and T. Suthenthiraraja.
