A teenage girl missing from her home in Limerick since last week is believed to be travelling with a 17-year-old youth, it emerged last night.

Fifteen year-old Jennifer Fitzgerald from Mungret Court, Watergate Flats, Limerick, has not been seen since last Friday at 3 p.m.

It's understood the teenager is travelling with a 17-year-old youth from the Hyde Road area of Limerick city.

They may be travelling in a dark coloured Mitsubishi Lancer, with a 92 registration number.

"The family of this young girl are obviously very concerned about her and are anxious to know where she is and to have her home," said a Garda spokesman.

Jennifer is described as five feet 10 inches in height and of broad build.

She has long straight fair hair and brown eyes and when last seen she was dressed in jeans and a T-shirt.

Anyone with any information about her whereabouts is asked to contact Henry Street Garda station in Limerick city on (061) 212400.
