In the North, the PSNI are still questioning three men arrested yesterday.

The men, two aged in their 30s and one in his 40s, were arrested in south Armagh in what detectives said was the second phase of an operation in support of the Garda investigation. The PSNI had earlier released two other men.

Ten men have now been arrested in total in the past three days by police on both sides of the Border.

The International Monitoring Commission has blamed former Provisional IRA members or associates for the murder of Mr Quinn.

An inquest opened briefly in Dundalk last month to issue a death certificate to his family, and it was adjourned due to the police investigation.
