Four men are being questioned today after being arrested in connection with a gangland-style murder.
A man (23) was arrested following a raid on house in Clondalkin, west Dublin, in connection with the killing of Damien Dowdall nearly a year ago.
Mr Dowdall (22) was murdered in his girlfriend's house in the Lealand Estate on January 23rd last year when two armed and masked men forced their way inside and shot him twice.
The arrested man was taken to Clondalkin Garda station, and he can be held for up to 72 hours.
A number of people have been arrested over the killing of Mr Dowdall, but no one has been charged with the murder.
During the raid, gardaí also arrested three other men in connection with serious crimes, including firearm offences in the Clondalkin area.
The three men, two aged 19 and one aged 33, are being held at Clondalkin and Ballyfermot Garda stations.
