Gardaí are treating as suspicious the discovery of a body at the rear of a house in Galway. A human skull and a torso wrapped in a sleeping bag were found when a quantity of soil was removed from a house in Lenaboy, Salthill.
There are no clues yet as to the identity of the body or how it came to be placed there. It is believed however that the body may have been there for over two years.
The scene has been sealed off for technical examination and a post mortem is due to be carried out tomorrow.
