Gardaí are investigating the fatal shooting of two brothers in Neilstown, west Dublin, tonight.
The pair were in a car on the Neilstown Road when a gunman attacked at about 8pm. Gardaí said the bodies remained at the scene and the area had been sealed off.
The dead men were aged in their 30s. It is believed they were known to gardaí. According to reports, the men’s car was rammed on the main road outside a coal yard before the attacker struck.
A third person, aged in his teens, was reported to have been in the car when the gunman opened fire. Gardaí could not confirm this and said they were investigating.
