Gardai in Limerick are investigating if shots fired at a house in the city early yesterday are part of a feud between two rival groups.

Four shots were fired at the home of a brother of a murder victim, Mr Eddie Ryan, at 12.45 a.m. in Lee Estate.

This is the fourth gun attack on the house this year. On May 17th 15 shots were fired at the house while family members were inside. In the latest incident the family were asleep when the shots were fired. No one was injured. Mr Eddie Ryan was shot dead in the Moose Bar, Cathedral Place, in Limerick on November 12th last.

Meanwhile, no arrests have been made in relation to a shooting at the home of two disabled sisters on Wednesday night.

The attack took place at 12.55 a.m. when a gunman fired at the home of Ms Shirley and Ms Lynsey McNamara, Oisin Drive, O'Malley Park, Southhill, Limerick. The sisters both use wheelchairs but were not at home at the time.
