Gardaí have issued a warning to the public after a quantity of dangerous drugs were stolen from cars in Dublin overnight.

One car was broken into at Greenore Terrace, Dublin 2, between 8.00 p.m. last night and 12.30 a.m. today.

There were ten boxes each with five ampoules of Tramadol Hydrochloride and two boxes containing five ampoules of Diclofenac Sodium. The drugs are said to be dangerous and harmful if taken without medical advice.

Gardaí at Crumlin are also investigating the theft of dangerous drugs from a car on Captain's Road, Crumlin this morning.

The theft included 20 Zimmervain sleeping tablets, 50 Zorixa anti-depressents and 14 Arizop, which are used for treating Alzheimer's disease.
