Gardai in Cork have named a 20 year-old man who died in a road traffic collision in the county yesterday.
Ingus Zemgalis of Lowertown, Schull, Cork, was fatally injured when the motor cycle he was riding hit a pole at Colla Road Schull, Co Cork, shortly after midnight yesterday.
The deceased was removed to Cork University Hospital. Gardaí are examining the scene and traffic diversions are in place.
Gardai at Schull are appealing for witnesses to the collision and for anyone who may have been on the Colla Road, Schull between midnight and 12.30am and may have witnessed the collision to contact Schull Station.
