Gardaí have sought the public's help in identifying a man found dead in the freezer of a Galway fish shop.
Detectives yesterday opened a murder investigation after the discovery of the body on Wednesday in a cold storage area of the shop on Henry Street
The man is believed to be aged 30-40, is six foot tall, with greying light brown hair. He was wearing a brown leather jacket, a dark jumper, blue Levis jeans and black shoes.
The body was frozen solid, delaying the postmortem. Gardaí have not yet been able to remove any items from the body that might assist identification.
