The Garda in Limerick is seeking two men after a young woman reported that she was raped. The woman, in her 20s, said she was dragged down a lane and attacked in the early hours of Friday morning.
Gardai said yesterday the woman was very distressed and suffering from shock. She said she was accosted in O'Connell Avenue opposite the entrance to Mount Carmel convent. The men were described as in their 20s, and the Garda at Roxboro is appealing for anyone who may have been in the O'Connell Avenue area between midnight and 2 a.m. on Friday morning to contact them.
