Gardaí investigating the murder of Vincent O'Brien (53), a father of one, at his home in Bray, Co Wicklow, on Wednesday evening have renewed their call for witnesses to come forward.
State Pathologist Prof Marie Cassidy completed a postmortem on Mr O'Brien's body yesterday, confirming he died of gunshot wounds delivered at close range.
Gardaí are appealing to anybody who saw any unusual or suspicious activity in the Kilbride Lane, Boghall Road and Killarney Road areas between 10pm and 10.40pm to contact them.
They are also interested in speaking to any taxi-drivers who were in the area during these times.
