Vancouver, on the west coast of Canada is at least a 12-hour journey from Ireland. CIE Tours (01) 703 1888 have charter flights to Toronto during the summer and onward connections to Vancouver will cost in total from £537. One thing to note, the tax if you use CIE is £26 but if you go through Britain it is £41. British Airways and Air Canada are offering a fare of £610 from Dublin via Heathrow. Air Canada is also offering half price business class fares during the summer.
